Fare Changes – July 14th, 2025

Beginning on July 14^th, fare changes approved by the KRT Board in Fall of 2024 will go into effect.

• The most important things for passengers to be aware of:
  • Single-ride tickets will remain the same price – $1.50
  • Day passes will go up from $2.50 to $3.50
  • Monthly passes will go DOWN $10 a month from $60 to $50
  • KRTplus rides will follow the prices above- $1.50 per trip and $12 for Airport Point of interest
  • There will be no change to our discount fares.
    • Senior citizens (65+) and persons with disabilities still can apply for or present their Medicare card and ride for half-price (.75 cents per ride)
    • Our KAT service – door to door transport for eligible passengers will remain the same
    • Veterans can still ride for free through the Operation Transportation program, thanks to Jan Dils Attorneys at Law
    • Children 40” or under riding with an adult – ride for free
