KRT Service Modifications – 2024 USA Cycling Pro Road National Championships

• From Tuesday, May 14^th through Sunday, May 19^th, buses are unable to access the City Center Station due to the 2024 USA Cycling Pro Road National Championships. A temporary transit center to load and unload passengers will be located on Summers & Donnally St. by Park Place Stadium Cinemas (please see map below).
• Due to the event location, modifications will be in effect throughout our service Service modifications are listed by route on the following pages.
• Please note, on Saturday, May 18, 2024, there will be no service for route # 11 Wertz Ave and # 15 South Hills
  

  

• # 1 SA/WC – St. Albans / West Charleston (will load on Summers St.)

  Outbound: Buses will leave Summers St. Right on Washington St. E, left on Pennsylvania Ave S, right on Randolph back to regular route.

  Inbound: Buses will travel the regular route to Pennsylvania Ave N., then right on Lee St., left on Court St., right on Donnally St., right on Summers St.

  # 2 CC/KC – Cabin Creek / Kanawha City (will load on Summers St)

  Outbound: Buses will travel Summers St. to Lee St., left on Lee St., then resume the regular route

  Inbound: Washington St. to Court St., right on Court St. right on Donnally St., right on Summers St.

  # 3 N/I – Nitro / Institute (will load on Summers St.)

  Outbound: Summers St. to Washington St. E., then resume the regular route

  Inbound: Lee St., to Court St., left on Court St., right on Donnally St., right on Summers St.

  # 5 Tyler Mountain / Cross Lanes (will load on Summers St.)

  Outbound: Summers St., right on Washington St. E. and resume the regular route

  Inbound: Lee St., to Court St., left on Court St., right on Donnally St., right on Summers St.

  # 6 Elkview (effective on Saturday, May 18^th only, buses will load on Summers St.)

  Outbound: Summers St., right on Washington St. E., right on Pennsylvania Ave N. Buses will then travel Pennsylvania Ave to the Big Chimney Bridge. After crossing the bridge, buses will turn left onto Indian Creek Rd. (Rt 114), and resume the regular route

  Inbound: Buses will travel the regular route to the Big Chimney Bridge. After crossing the bridge, buses will turn right across the Bridge, then left on to Pennsylvania Ave, left on Lee St., left on Court St., right on Donnally St., then right on Summers St.

  # 7 Campbells Creek (will load on Summers St.)

  Outbound: Summers St., right on Washington St. E., then left on Pennsylvania Ave South back to the regular route

  Inbound: Regular route to Court St., left on Court St., right on Donnally St., right on Summers St.

  # 8 Sissonville (will load on Summers St.)

  Outbound: From Summers St., right on Washington St. E., and resume the regular route

  Inbound: From Lee St., left on Court St., right on Donnally St., then right on Summers St.

  # 11 Wertz Avenue (will load on Donnally St.)

  Outbound: Buses will travel the regular route to the Capitol Complex. Buses will then turn around at the Capitol Complex and travel California Ave., turning left on Quarrier St., left on Michigan Ave., left on Washington St. E., right on California Ave, left on Piedmont Rd., left on Sydney St., left on Washington St. E., then left to Greenbrier St., and resume the regular route

  Inbound: Buses will travel the regular route to Court St., turning right on Court St., right on Donnally St., then right on Summers St.

  # 13 Beech Ave (will load on Donnally St.)

  Outbound: From Summers St., turning right on Washington St. E, then resume the regular route

  Inbound: Buses will travel the regular route to Lee St., turning left on Court St., right on Donnally St., then right on Summers St.

  # 14 City Park (will load on Donnally St.)

  Inbound: Regular route to Smith St. and Capitol St. Buses will continue along Smith St. to Court St., left on Court St., left on Donnally St., then right on Summers St.

  # 15 South Hills (will load on Donnally St.)

  Outbound: Summers St. then right to Washington St. East, left on Pennsylvania Ave. South to I- 64 W exit at Oakwood Rd., right on Cantley Dr., left on Oakwood Rd., right on Oakhurst Dr., and resume the regular route

  Inbound: Regular route to Oakhurst Dr. and Oakwood Rd. Left on Oakwood Rd., right on Cantley Dr., left onto Rt. 119, left on ramp to I-64 W to the Virginia St. exit., left onto Pennsylvania Ave N., right on Lee St., left on Court St., then right on Donnally St.

  # 16 South Park (will load on Donnally St.)

  Outbound: Summers St. to Lee St., left on Lee St., right on Morris St., left on Virginia St., left on Elizabeth St., right on Piedmont Ave. to California Ave., left on Washington St. E, and resume the regular route

  Inbound: Buses will travel the regular route to the Capitol Complex. Once at the Capitol Complex, buses will turn right to California Ave., left onto Piedmont Ave, left on Elizabeth St., right on Quarrier St., right on Brooks St., left on Washington St. E., right on Court St., right on Donnally St., then right on Summers St.

  # 17 Southside (will load on Summers St.)

  Outbound: Summers St., right on Washington St. E., left on Pennsylvania Ave S., then resume the regular route

  Inbound: Regular route to Court St., left on Court St., right on Donnally St., right on Summers St.

  # 18 Fort Hill / Montrose (will load on Donnally St.)

  Outbound: Summers St., right on Washington St. E., left on Pennsylvania Ave S., then resume the regular route.

  Inbound: Regular route to Court St., left on Court St., right on Donnally St., then right on Summers St.

  # 19 Charleston Loop / Trolley (will load and depart on Donnally St.)

  Outbound: Donnally St., left on Capitol St., right on Smith St., right on Morris St., left on Virginia St., left on Elizabeth St., right on Piedmont Rd. to California Ave.

  Inbound: California Ave., left on Quarrier St., left on Michigan Ave., left on Washington St. E., turn right on California Ave., left on Piedmont Ave., left on Elizabeth St., right on Quarrier St., right on Brooks St. Buses will travel Brooks St. to Smith St., turning left on Smith St., and resume the regular route

  # 21 Southridge / Trace Fork / Dudley Farms (will load on Summers St.)

  Outbound: Summers St., right on Washington St. E., left on Pennsylvania Ave. S., back to regular route

  Inbound: Regular route to Court St., left on Court St., right on Donnally St., then right on Summers St.

  # 22M / # 22 Q Mongomery / Quincy Mall (will load on Summers St.)

  Outbound: Summers St., left on Lee St., then regular route to the Capitol after passing Chesapeake Ave., buses will go out of service and run through Kanawha City (drop off only) until the Kroger in Kanawha City. Buses will then travel to the interstate and follow the Campbells Creek route. Buses will resume the regular route at the Tudors in Malden.

  Inbound: Buses will travel the regular route until reaching Campbells Creek. Buses will follow the Campbells Creek route to Kanawha City (pick up/drop off through Kanawha City). Once buses reach the Capitol Complex, they will resume the regular route to Court St.

  # 23 Clendenin (will load on Summers St.)

  Outbound: Summers St., then right on Washington St. E., right on Pennsylvania Ave., and resume the regular route

  Inbound: Regular route to Court St., left on Court St., right on Donnally St., then right on Summers St.
